PAWS Memorial Garden

Our Mission is to operate a professional yet compassionate Memorial Garden for the pet owners who choose  private  internment  for the cremated  remains of their beloved family member.  We promise to handle each and every memorial with dignity.

Located in the beautiful Creston valley within the grounds of Claudiaís Place the new Pet Memorial Garden was made possible by a private donation. PAWS was established in 1996 and serves the area from Riondel to Yahk. The Memorial Garden is now open and is a place to give your beloved petís ashes a resting place and have a permanent memorial where you can visit at any time to remember those special times you shared.   The garden is open 365 days a year and you are welcome to bring your pet on a leash.

Our Family Pets

Our pets are our best friends and valued members of our families. They are our companions who always delight in just being in our presence. Saying farewell to our animal companions with a dignified after-life ashes internment, honouring the life you shared is a way in which you can celebrate your cherished pets who have given you their lifetime of unconditional love and loyalty.

What can we do for our pet now?

When a beloved pet passes away it raises the question of "What can we do for our pet now?" Long after their lives have ended, we remember and cherish the years of companionship and devotion given to us as their pet parents. We cover all aspects of our pet's brief stay on this earth, but even as they reach their final years, we refuse to face the fact that someday, our pet will no longer be with us. This painful and grief-filled experience is something we do not want to contemplate. Unfortunately though, it is inevitable. Knowing what our options are when a pet dies helps ease the confusion and pain.

In this day and age where people move more frequently, have to change homes or move into a care facility, not everyone has a place to inter the ashes of their pet. If you have had to leave a pet behind where you used to live, PAWS memorial garden can be a place to remember your pet  by having an engraved plaque or stone in memoriam.

PAWS Pet Memorial Garden has unique solutions to the problem of appropriate  memorialisation for your loved one. Having a permanent memorial and place to remember your pet.

PAWS Pet Memorial Garden offers tasteful, dignified options to pet owners who have suffered the loss of a beloved pet.

PAWS, known for its caring and  compassionate volunteers, who understand what it means to lose a pet, can guide you through the process of saying goodbye with dignity.

Donations can also be made to PAWS in your petís memory.   If the final  disposition of your petís loss was out of your control there are still ways to memorialize them.  A memorial plaque combined with our landscaped garden among flowering vines, trees, our arbor walk and benches will help finalize the grieving process and provide a place for you and your  family to visit whenever you wish.
