Volunteering with PAWS is an extremely rewarding experience. Fostering a pet that hasn't yet found its forever home, helping out with fundraising events, working on the shelter are some examples of what our volunteers help with.

If you have the time, PAWS can use your help!

Foster homes are always desperately needed and PAWS will continue to need foster homes even after the shelter is in operation.

Volunteers Urgently Needed!

PAWS needs a bookkeeper. The requirements are: to keep the books up to date, pick up mail, mail out cheques, make deposits, and all the other things that go with keeping financial records up-to-date. We can help train you for our needs. If you have bookkeeping skills and would like to donate about one or two days a week please call us.

PAWS also really needs people to help run the office on a one day a week shift. This requires answering phone calls and e-mails, filing, tending the office cat, and numerous other chores. If you would be interested please call us at the office and leave a message so we can respond.
